How do I know which engagement is right for our situation?
A Pattern Note is a good starting point if you have one specific question and want a considered written response before committing to a longer engagement. The Role Definition Review suits firms where senior-level friction is present but its source is unclear. The Organisational Weave is for firms whose broader structure — reporting lines, governance, and role distribution — has drifted out of alignment with the work.
What does the twelve-week engagement actually look like week by week?
The first four weeks are observational — we attend meetings, walk the daily workflow, and hold individual conversations with the senior team. Weeks five through eight are analytical and drafting. The final four weeks involve four structured working sessions with the leadership group to review, adjust, and finalise the redesign document and implementation notes.
Do you work with firms outside of Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. Pattern Notes are conducted entirely remotely. The Role Definition Review and Organisational Weave involve some in-person sessions and can be arranged for firms within Malaysia with a reasonable travel component. We are happy to discuss the practicalities during an initial conversation.
How is pricing structured — are there additional costs?
The prices listed are the engagement fees in full. Travel within Klang Valley is included. For firms outside Kuala Lumpur, reasonable travel costs would be discussed and agreed before the engagement begins. There are no ongoing retainers or post-engagement fees unless a new engagement is agreed.
Is what we discuss kept within the firm?
All engagements are conducted under a confidentiality agreement. We do not reference client firms in case studies or external materials without explicit permission. The documents we produce are yours alone.
How quickly can an engagement begin?
Pattern Notes can typically begin within one to two weeks of the initial conversation. Role Definition Reviews and Organisational Weave engagements require a short scoping call and an agreement before starting — which usually means a two to three week lead time before the engagement proper commences.
